Sunday School - October 20 - Annual Procession of the Saints
10 am Worship Service
To honor and remember those in the faith who have come before us, St. Michael's children present our annual Procession of Saints to the congregation during the 10 am worship service this Sunday, October 20.
Please bring your children to the Yellow Room by 10 am, as usual, to hear a story and get into costumes. The Saints will then process into the church after the Gospel. There will be chairs on the steps in front of the altar. The children will sit in the chairs to be interviewed by Susan Caldwell. We practiced this a bit last week. Then Father Michael will tell us about each of the saints present. The more the merrier! If your child has not yet chosen a saint, please feel welcome to come to the Yellow room at 9:55 to be pick a saint, get in costume, and join the celebration!
Following the presentation of the Saints to the congregation, the children will join their families in the pews for the remainder of the service. If your child usually goes to the nursery after Sunday School, that option will also be available, as always. After worship all the children return to the Yellow Room to get out of costume.
